Bombing Raids On The North
	An account of the German bombing raids on the North of England. Although there were no great "Blitz" campaigns such as those seen in London and Coventry, there were many bombing attacks made by the Luftwaffe on the North of England. This programme looks at life in the wartime North during these attacks: including the V1 Rocket raids on the towns along the N.E. coastline and the work of the anti-aircraft Barrage Balloon squadrons who protected the mouths to the great rivers, such as the Humber Bridge - as these were favourite routes for the intruder enemy aircraft.
