Useful Tip !!
Just five minutes away in the car is Littlestone.
From here you can look out to sea and see part of an original Mullbury Harbour.
Easier to spot when the tide is out.

Another small but very friendly museum concentrating on
the aeronautical side of wartime Britain but also displaying
other aspects.

We spent several hours looking around and chatting to two wartime servicemen who were not only a mine of information but also not averse to the odd joke.

It really is the volunteers who run smaller museums like this that make them so good.

The museum buildings were used by the Women's Land Army as a hostel during the war and some of the original graffiti as well as a display is on show.

This museum is well worth a visit and is great if you want to combine a museum with a trip to the coast (Dymchurch's sandy beaches are only 5 minutes away).
