By bringing the memory of the Home Guard back to life, The Men of Britain are determined that the important role played by these part time soldiers is professionally re-created to educate, inform and remember their sacrifice - 1200 home guards lost their life in pursuit of the defence of our country.
We will remember them.
The Men of Britain wear authentic uniforms, webbing and insignia of the Huntingdonshire 1st battalion.
They have the ability to badge uniforms to represent any unit or designation of the Home Guard - titles such as 'H 21' for Hampshire 21st Battalion or the Norfolk Regiment with 'NR 9' have appeared at specific events to match the geographical location.
